During this stage, your lot is prepared and plumbing/underground work is completed. Your foundation is poured, inspected by a third-party structural engineer, and framework construction begins. Your Sales Counselor should be available to keep you informed about the progress of your home and to answer your questions.

This is when you really begin to see your home come together. During this stage, many things occur:
• Cornice work (windows, siding, etc.) begins
• Roof shingles are installed
• Rough mechanicals (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, security, A/V wiring)& firebox installed
• City inspections are conducted
• Insulation is added

During this phase, your home’s “face” really comes together:

• Sheetrock is installed
• Cabinets are put in
• Doors and trim are completed
• Exterior brickwork is laid
• Walls and trim are painted
• Ceramic tile and countertops are installed

This is the time when all the small touches you have selected come together to make your home truly your own. By the end of this phase of construction, you are typically 30 days away from closing. Your Sales Counselor will help you estimate possible closing dates and
discuss any potential obstacles.

During finishing the construction of your home is complete. Your home is thoroughly cleaned in preparation for your taking ownership. We will go through a detailed checklist before certifying the home to be complete. Once this criteria is met, a homeowner orientation session will take place at which time you will learn about all the wonderful features of your new home.
